BB4K is meant to keep competitive baseball open to kids from all walks of life – we want to make talent the primary factor in determining who can play competitive, travel team baseball.
In the past, donors have contributed significant funds for player scholarships and travel fees. In fact, The Hardtke Baseball Academy has contributed over $280,000 in the past 20 seasons. These funds assured spots on travel teams for kids who did not have the financial wherewithal to do so on their own. BB4K was formed as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, so that contributions are tax deductible. Our Federal Tax ID# is: 36-4495191.

At the present time we are in the middle of our fundraising program. We have reduced our Travel Teams to the 16U & 18U levels. The current economy has caused families to cutback on certain expenditures. Unfortunately, travel ball is one of the victims. Many players will be missing out on their opportunity to attend college & play college baseball.
Over the past 20 Years BB4K has provided scholarship money to needy players. We have had, on an average, 22% of our players in the BB4K scholarship program. We have been fortunate to have money contributed by some great donors plus we have held golf tournaments. Unfortunately, the well is almost dried up. Because of the requests for financial assistance it is estimated we will need to raise $50,000 for the players on both of our teams.
If its possible we would appreciate any contribution you feel comfortable doing.
